Looks intersesting. Damn. I wanted to say something, but Praetorian threatened anyone who wanted to say that. Well, I loled when I saw he wrote that. I haven't been active on these forums in forever. I don't believe the Cult of the Pie was even started when you wrote this. O.O
Well, I'll check out that book you suggested. My top picks:
- Astrophysics
- Computer Science
- Biochemistry
- Neurology
Basically everything. I won't say I know very specific much. Just broad knowledge. I was very into astrology as a kid though. |

My tops picks are now (#1 being the most interesting):
1. Computer Science/Programming
2. Chemistry
3. Psychology
4. Biochemistry
Also, I really need to read that book if it really is so well written. _________________ Reality is only what your mind perceives. |

If you don't mind me asking a stupid question...Is computer science a legit science? Like, does it use the scientific method and such? I only ask becuase if not, the name annoys me. _________________ You can accuse me of falsifying information, or you can be right, it's your choice. |

It does use the scientific method. An example is in new chip production where they:
State a problem (make better, good working chip)
Research (using results of previous testing of older chips and experiments to see what's held in the future and what is needed)
Hypothesis (If we change the architecture of the processor, we can possibly gain this performance)
Testing for Hyp. ^ (obviously, [electronically] testing the hardware based on the objective)
Analysis (see what resulted from the hardware tests)
Results (Better chips, new architecture designs, etc.)
There is also computer theory, which is more math I believe. _________________ Reality is only what your mind perceives. |

Ah...I was under the impression that Compsci was just another way of saying "programming." My bad.
...although that sounds a lot more like engineering than it does science...whatever... _________________ You can accuse me of falsifying information, or you can be right, it's your choice. |

Engineering is a science, isn't it?
Well I don't know.
Nevermind. _________________

They CAN be similar, but I can probably assume engineering makes even more assumptions than science does. _________________ Reality is only what your mind perceives. |
