And bitches about Netflix too!
I only recently saw Stargate The Ark of Truth, the first of many movies to be produced after the run of SG-1 and now, Atlantis. I enjoyed it fairly much as any other episode of the show. They certainly brought in a few twists. Anyone who's seen it knows the major one I'm definitely referencing. Somehow I had a feeling that's what it was going to be, right before they revealed it.
I think that I expected more of it, being a movie. I wanted it to be epic. I was a little dissapointed in that sense. I was thinking something along the lines of the major battle in "All My Sins Be Remember'd" in Stargate Atlantis and the fight over Antartica in "The Lost City" in Stargate SG-1.
They did a few things that I felt kinda betrayed previously known "facts" of the franchise. Oh well.
Oh yeah, I have to say also, Netflix's instant queue quality wasn't spectacular on my laptop. It was definitely sub DVD quality. Even high quality videos on Youtube seem to look better than what I saw. That's why I'll wait for Stargate Continuum to come in through the mail. First is Dark Knight though, which I haven't seen yet. |

The Netflix instant queue works relly well for Xbox streaming though. _________________
